BWA is a performance collaboration between Esyllt Angharad Lewis and Emma Lewis-Jones exploring the limitations of translation and complexities of non-verbal communication. The pair talk and move with a strip of flexiply, becoming a spectator sport for the audience who experience the tension and relief of seeing the flexiply form an arch shape above the duo.
The work has been performed in night clubs, shopping centres, gardens and art galleries in Scotland and Wales.
November 2024 saw BWA undergo a period of Research + Development at The Work Room, Tramway, Glasgow. Upcoming performances:
